More books published in Turkey

In the Republic of Turkey, the number of published literature increased by 11% over the year. More than 72,000 books were published in Turkey last year, according to the country’s Statistical Committee. Of the total volume of books, most of them are educational, followed by fiction for adults, scientific literature, books for children and teenagers. But newspapers and magazines began to be published less, their number decreased by 8% in 2021. In Turkey, people have started to read more and books are now selling well.
